A certified Wim Hof Method Advanced Instructor based in Tallinn. Former civil engineer and basketball player turned breathwork coach.
All workshops are based on Wim Hof Method and are taught strictly following his guidelines.
Here we learn about the 3 pillars of the method: breathing, cold exposure, and mindset. No previous experience is needed, only curiosity and an open mind.
The breathing class is open to everyone, whether you are not sure if you want to join a fundamentals workshop yet or you simply want to keep your practice going.
The advanced workshop is dedicated for the people who have already participated in a fundamentals workshop (with me or any other instructor in the world).
1:1 sessions are for everyone, but especially for people who are less comfortable with a group setup, or have a tight schedule.
The session can last 2-3 hours and teaches you basic knowledge about the Wim Hof method and the science behind it, followed by a guided breathing session and a cold dip, often with the sauna (in winter time).
Wim Hof is a Dutch man who spent decades exposing himself to cold, nature, and discomfort. Not to prove anything — but to understand what the human body and mind are truly capable of.
By spending time in extreme cold, Wim discovered something powerful: when we work consciously with our breathing, our mindset, and cold exposure, we can influence how our body reacts to stress.
The Wim Hof Method is a natural path to an optimal state of body and mind. Practicing the three pillars – breathing, cold exposure and mindset – it is possible to elevate your mood, lower stress level and anxiety and gain better health.

Hi, I’m Gaetan
My name is Gaétan, I’m 30 years old, I’m from France and I’ve been living in Estonia for almost 4 years now. Moving here was a big shift in my life. Back in Paris, I was working as a construction site manager and I was often stressed, caught in the rhythm of work and daily life. But coming to Tallinn slowed things down — it gave me space to reflect and reconnect with myself.
Around that time, a friend asked me, “Have you read Wim Hof’s book?” I hadn’t even heard of him. But at the same moment, I was reading Breath by James Nestor — and even in this book there is a full chapter about Wim Hof. It felt like life was sending me a message.
I decided to read and to give the method a try — because, well, anyway you have to survive the Estonian winter somehow! So, we started small, with cold showers. Like Wim often says “No ego, we go”. But what really changed everything for me was the breathing. I couldn’t imagine that a simple breathing exercise could have so much impact on me.

It’s a natural method to reconnect with yourself, built on three simple pillars that support each other: breathing, cold exposure, and mindset. Through the breath, the cold, and the mind, we rediscover a strength that already lives inside us but that modern life slowly makes us forget. It teaches you to listen to your body, trust your intuition, and meet stress with more calm, clarity, and confidence. Cold water is just a small part of the entire method.
No. The workshops are designed for beginners as well as experienced practitioners — whether you’re completely new to the method or already experienced with cold water or breathwork. You do not need any previous experience, only curiosity and an open mind 😊
No, the ice bath is always optional. Everyone can participate according to their own ability and needs. During the workshop, you’ll learn how to enter cold water safely and stay in it by controlling your breath.
You explore the three pillars of the method: a guided breathing session, mindset & nervous system regulation, and a guided ice bath experience. You’ll also learn about the science behind the method, how breathing and cold exposure affect the body, and how to safely use these tools in daily life. It usually lasts a full afternoon (4h to 6h depending on the format).
Winter swimming is essentially about getting into cold water — often as a tradition, a challenge, or for its refreshing effect. The Wim Hof Method is a complete method built on three pillars that support each other: breathing, cold exposure, and mindset. Cold water is only one part of it. Before you ever enter the cold, you learn a breathing technique that prepares the body and mind, and a mindset that lets you stay calm and in control. You also learn the science of what happens in your body during cold exposure, and how to enter the water safely by controlling your breath.
So while winter swimming and the Wim Hof Method can look similar from the outside, the goal is different. The method isn’t about braving the cold or proving anything — it’s about using the cold consciously, as a tool to reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and discover an inner strength you already carry within you. The cold becomes a way to grow, not just something to endure.
When practiced correctly and consistently, the Wim Hof Method offers a wide range of potential benefits for both body and mind.
For your body: a stronger immune system, lower inflammation, better sleep quality, improved sport performance and endurance, better recovery, and greater cold tolerance.
For your mind: more energy in daily life, a better mood, better focus, a clearer mind, and lower stress and anxiety.
Underlying all of these is the real heart of the method: learning to consciously influence your nervous system. The problem today isn’t stress itself — stress is natural. The real issue is staying in a stress state for too long without knowing how to come back to calm. The tools of this method teach you to move from one state to another and give the body the time it needs to recover.
Weekly breathing classes (Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings, one hour, practical and open to everyone), a Wim Hof Method weekend — a 3-day, all-inclusive immersion in Estonian nature held twice a year, an advanced workshop for those who have already done a fundamentals workshop, and 1-on-1 sessions for personal attention or those less comfortable in a group setup.
Always practice the breathing exercises sitting or lying down in a safe environment. Never practice while driving, in or near water, or anywhere loss of consciousness could cause harm. Do not practice during pregnancy or when having epilepsy. People with cardiovascular issues or other serious health conditions must always consult a medical doctor before starting. Listen to your body and never force the practice.
Yes. A key part of the workshop is learning how to practice at home and unlock all the benefits, including the basic breathing protocol and how to safely use these tools in daily life.
